Prospective foster and adoptive parents in Huntington Beach are being sought to care for Orange County children who have been taken into protective custody because of abuse and neglect.
The Oak View Collaborative and Children and Family Services are seeking parents to care for hundreds of children.
Foster parents will receive financial support during the temporary care of the child. In addition, counseling and parental training and education are provided for both adoptive and foster parents.
Parents can specialize in providing care for siblings who need to stay together, drug-exposed infants or pregnant teens.
