Quackenbush

* No matter the outcome of the investigation of Insurance Commissioner Chuck Quackenbush, he should be removed from office. Why? Because he is either a liar or simply incompetent. If it is found that he lied about his involvement in letting insurance companies off relatively scot-free in exchange for contributions that only benefited himself, then he should be impeached both for his unethical actions and for lying about them.
What if it is found that he was telling the truth that he was completely unaware of the settlement details of the largest insurance claim crisis in the history of California? Then he has abdicated his responsibilities. As insurance commissioner, if he wasn’t deeply involved in the massive Northridge earthquake claims issue, just what does he do for a living?

Let’s see if I have this right. Quackenbush can “bilk” Californians out of millions of dollars, and he might lose his job? What a joke. I guess white-collar crime does pay.
