Cherokee’s Net Income, Revenue Rise for Quarter

Cherokee Inc., Van Nuys, reported net income of $4.1 million for the first quarter ended April 29 compared with $2.6 million for the first quarter last year. Revenue rose to $9.6 million from $6.9 million.
Cherokee markets, licenses and manages a variety of brands in apparel, luggage, cosmetics and shoes.
