Survey Finds Employment Outlook Positive in Valley

In a third-quarter employment outlook survey, Manpower Inc. says San Fernando Valley area companies have the highest hiring projections in Los Angeles County.
Of the Valley employers surveyed, 39% said they plan to hire between June 30 and Sept. 30, compared with 34% countywide.
The survey said 56% of Valley employers intend to maintain current levels, and only 2% plan to cut staff. The remaining 3% were undecided.
Based in Milwaukee, Manpower is a global employment service with 3,400 offices in 53 countries. The company conducts the employment outlook survey on a quarterly basis.
