Public Urination

* Re “Council Delays Vote on Penalties for Public Urination,” June 7: So our enlightened leaders are planning to jail homeless people for urinating and defecating in inappropriate places (which would not happen if adequate public toilet facilities were made available--at far less cost). I suggest that officials and their business associates spend just one 24-hour segment of their comfortable lives without access to toilet facilities. Might they not also find themselves facing jail time?
