** The A*Teens, “The ABBA Generation,” MCA. Here’s another sign of the enduring charm of the bubbly Swedish foursome from the ‘70s. Yes, this quartet (which is also Swedish) remakes lots of the ABBA hits, from the hyperactive “Take a Chance on Me” to the moodier, introspective “The Name of the Game.” And while the A*Teens don’t capture the full emotional sweep of the original recordings, they come close enough to make you smile. And most parents will probably find this much more appealing when they go into their children’s bedrooms than the latest Britney Spears or ‘N Sync collection they are hearing now.
