The annual Wiener Nationals, featuring racing dachshunds at the Los Alamitos Race Course, raised $8,000 for the Seal Beach Animal Care Center on Saturday. The no-kill policy shelter is manned by volunteers and features a Web site, https://www.sbacc.org, dedicated to the adoption of dogs and cats. Information: (714) 827-8285.
