POMONA — A 55-year-old man was found stabbed to death Thursday morning when Pomona police officers responded to a report of a possible burglary.
The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was discovered at 2 a.m. in the 900 block of West Lexington Avenue, Lt. Dave Keetle said.
Police were sent to the scene after a neighbor called to report a loud house alarm, Keetle said. When officers arrived, they noticed the front door of the victim’s house was open, investigators said.
Officers entered the house to check on any occupants and discovered the body, Keetle said. The victim had multiple stab wounds, investigators said.
