Amwest Group Boosts Treasurer to VP

* Amwest Insurance Group Inc. has promoted Phillip E. Huff to senior vice president, finance. The company’s former treasurer, Huff will be the highest-ranking finance officer at the Calabasas-based insurance holding company.
* Michael Tasooji has been promoted to senior vice president and chief information officer of Walt Disney Co. He had been senior vice president, information services, for Walt Disney Attractions division. In his new position, Tasooji will be largely responsible for building and maintaining Disney’s IT infrastructure and e-business capabilities.
