The City Council voted 5 to 0 Tuesday to offer a $20,000 reward to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the April 20 stabbing death of a Jaime Morales.
Morales, 22, died about 10 p.m. from a single stab wound to the chest. The attack followed an argument with two young men who approached him while he walked with his girlfriend on Melody Lane. The two men took his shoes and rode off on bicycles. Anyone with information can call the Police Department’s homicide hotline at (714) 993-8166.
