Scheid Vineyards Inc., based in Marina del Rey, called off the sale of about a quarter of its vineyard property to Coastal Winegrowers for $21.3 million because of a disagreement on closing conditions. The sale of 1,350 acres in Monterey County was intended to reduce debt and return Scheid to a positive cash flow.
