AML Communications Receives $560,000 Contract

AML Communications Inc. in Camarillo said it has received a contract valued at approximately $560,000 for amplifiers that will be used for broadband wireless services, with an option for an additional $600,000 in business over the next year.
Delivery is scheduled to begin later this year.
The amplifiers, being purchased by a European-based original equipment manufacturer, will be used to deliver voice and data packet wireless services.
“This contract is the result of our commitment to expand AML’s presence within the broadband wireless applications market,” said Kirk A. Waldron, president and chief executive, adding that AML is looking for more opportunities in this sector of the market.
AML designs amplifiers and related products for the global wireless industry.
