Impco Wins Federal Hydrogen Tank Job

Impco Technologies said Monday its Advanced Technology Center in Irvine has won a U.S. Department of Energy contract to demonstrate hydrogen storage tank technology designed for internal combustion engines and fuel cell vehicles. Impco and the energy department will share part of the costs of the $2.6-million project. Impco develops and manufactures alternative fuel systems and components.
