An 81-year-old man died in a fire in his Lancaster condominium Friday night, authorities said.
The man was found in the bedroom of a unit in the 2900 block of West Avenue J-4, said Leilana Aranda, an investigator with the county coroner’s office.
Authorities will have to review dental records to confirm the identity of the man, who lived alone, she said.
Firefighters responded to the blaze about 7:30 p.m. and took about 20 minutes to put it out, Aranda said.
The fire caused about $120,000 in damage, authorities said. It is being investigated.
