The Union of Vietnamese Student Assns. of Southern California has earmarked more than $80,000 raised during a May 21 concert for a proposed Vietnam War Memorial statue. The memorial executive committee, which is in charge of the privately funded project, is waiting to hear from the sponsors of the concert about when it will receive the money.
