Beckman Coulter Develops Custom Reagents

Beckman Coulter Inc. in Fullerton said Friday that it has developed custom reagents that could speed the search for vaccines for cancer and other diseases. The reagents, substances that detect and measure other substances, can rapidly measure cellular immune response, Beckman said in a news release. The company also said it has formed a business unit in San Diego to commercialize future custom and routine applications of the technology.
