Two VPs Leaving Fleetwood’s RV Unit

Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. announced the departure of two executives from its recreational vehicle business, which it said isn’t performing as expected. Richard E. Parks, senior vice president of the recreational vehicle group, and John R. Weiss, vice president of the motor homes division, stepped down effective immediately, the Riverside-based company said. “We appreciate the many contributions made by Mr. Parks and Mr. Weiss during their lengthy Fleetwood careers,” Fleetwood President Nelson W. Potter said. “However, we believe that a change in leadership and direction for the RV group is necessary in order to get things back on track with our longer-term objectives.” The company, which also is a leader in manufactured housing, did not name replacements for the positions.
