Hilton Anaheim Name Two Sales Managers

* Susan Valen and Nicole Hanson have been appointed sales managers at the Hilton Anaheim. Valen was previously senior sales manager at the Doubletree Hotel Anaheim/Orange County. Before joining Doubletree in 1997, Valen was marketing director of Planet Hollywood, South Coast Plaza. Hanson previously worked at the Boston Harbor Hotel and the Hilton Dedham Place. In addition, Thomas Frei was named director of food and beverage. He had been director of food and beverage at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, Hawaii.

* Laura Cannon has been named manager of operations and administration for InterAct Network Inc. in Santa Ana, an entertainment management company serving the airline industry. She had been distribution coordinator at Post Modern Edit.

* M. Todd McDonald and Kimberly Roush have been made partners in the Costa Mesa office of KPMG LLP, a professional-services firm.

* William Traynor is the new director of operations for El Pollo Loco in Irvine. He joined the company in September as a franchise consultant. Before that, Traynor was director of training for Allied Dome Retailing USA, which operates Baskin-Robbins, Dunkin’ Donuts and Togo’s. He has also held operations positions with CKE Enterprises, Taco Bell Corp. and Del Taco Corp.
