The Planning Commission is expected to vote tonight to allow a grocery store to move into the vacant space at the Valley View Shopping Center.
Henry’s Marketplace, a San Diego-based retail grocery store, plans to take over 27,122 square feet of the 32,134-square-foot space previously occupied by an Alpha Beta market that left about two years ago.
The store specializes in a variety of fresh produce, baked goods, meats, deli and herbal supplements. The company, currently operating 20 stores in San Diego, picked Yorba Linda to carry out its plans to expand into Orange County, said Kevin Easler, director of sales and marketing.
