Jennifer Mercier became the city’s newest police officer this month. Police Chief Vincent Giampa introduced Mercier to council members and city staff during a recent council meeting.
Mercier, a graduate of Golden West College’s Criminal Justice Training Center Police Academy, becomes the city’s fourth female officer and brings the number of active police officers to 26.
