Krause’s Promotes Friedman to President

Herbert J. Friedman has been promoted to president of Krause’s Furniture Inc., a new position. The Brea company said Friedman most recently served as executive vice president of merchandising, product development, marketing and stores. As president, Friedman will have the additional responsibility of overseeing CastroContract, a new division focusing on the needs of the hospitality industry. Friedman joined the company in 1989 as vice president of merchandising.
