BOULDER, Colo. — John and Patsy Ramsey have agreed to meet next month with Boulder police about the 1996 slaying of their daughter, JonBenet.
Neither side would reveal the date. Boulder Police Chief Mark Beckner would say only that the meeting will be after Aug. 18 because of scheduling conflicts with his officers.
The meeting would be the first between the Ramseys and police since June 1998.
Six-year-old JonBenet was found dead in the family’s Boulder home Dec. 26, 1996. No one has been arrested, but Boulder police have said the Ramseys remain under suspicion. The Ramseys have denied any involvement.
