Council members voted Tuesday to increase the city’s legal budget by $245,000 this fiscal year to cover attorneys’ fees related to pending lawsuits filed against and by the city. The vote, made as part of an overall update of the 2000-01 budget, also included spending $95,000 to replace old playground equipment at Bigonger Park on Parkside Drive near the Yorba Linda Country Club.
