Boston Pops for the Wrong Guy

It is the rare opponent who can walk the streets of Boston’s Back Bay without regard for fun little greetings, like, “Hey you! You’re the stupidest!”

Red Sox fans are so coarse they barely like their guys, most years with good reason.

So Atlanta utilityman Keith Lockhart was astonished recently when he was offered a discount at a Boston shop, then given a prime reservation at a busy restaurant. Everyone was so happy to have Keith Lockhart come by.

When he asked a hotel doorman about it, the man told him they had probably confused him with the Keith Lockhart. He conducts the Boston Pops.
