HUD Offers Tips on Purchases, Repairs

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development invites the public to attend a home buying and home improvement seminar Saturday at the Glendora City Library, Bidwell Forum.
The free program, co-sponsored by the city of Glendora and the League of California Homeowners, will address government loan programs, how to purchase foreclosed properties and how to qualify for special loan programs.
The 9 a.m. seminar at 140 S. Glendora Ave. will feature guest speakers; refreshments will be served. Residents from all communities are invited. Reservations are recommended. Call (800) 692-4663.
