A 43-year-old Reseda woman was killed when her car overturned on the Foothill Freeway early Saturday, authorities said.
Renee Yvette Lochard was driving east at excessive speed near Hubbard Street in Sylmar about 1 a.m., California Highway Patrol Officer Frank Sansone said.
Her car struck the center divider and then drifted toward a right shoulder embankment, where it overturned and landed on its roof, he said.
Lochard was not wearing a seat belt. She was declared dead at the scene, authorities said.
