Productivity Enhancement’s New Chief

Brett E. Trowbridge has been named president of Productivity Enhancement Products Inc. in Laguna Hills. Before joining the company, he was president of Current Environmental Solutions. Trowbridge has also held executive positions with Terra Vac Corp. and Chevron.

* Thomas J. Nieto has been appointed senior vice president of the Costa Mesa office of U.S. Trust Co. He joined the office in 1998 from the Los Angeles office, where he was vice president and senior lending officer. Nieto has also been vice president and team leader for Bank of America’s private banking department in Los Angeles.

* John McLean has been named acting chief operating officer of Telenetics Corp. in Lake Forest. He joined the company this year after 27 years with GTE in several senior executive management positions. Those included vice president of business development at GTE Telecommunications Products and Services and vice president of technology at GTE Wireless.

* Peggy Ouimet has been appointed vice president of marketing for MTI Technology Corp. in Anaheim. She joined MTI in October as director of product marketing, after 11 years at Western Digital Corp. in Irvine.

* Leonard Kajimoto has been named to the newly created position of vice president, operations for LMKI Inc. in Irvine. Kajimoto was formerly manager of operations at Xerox Corp.

* Richard Troop, co-founder of the law firm of Troop, Steuber, Pasich, Reddick & Tobey LLP, has been elected to the board of directors of 3DSP Corp. in Irvine.

* Janet Price has been appointed director of finance and administration for Leisure World, Laguna Woods. She previously worked at the company’s Lake Forest headquarters, overseeing the financial operations for all its managed properties.

* Steven L’Heureux has been named president of Odetics Broadcast in Anaheim. He had been vice president of sales and marketing. In addition, Timothy Crabtree was appointed chief technical officer. Crabtree joined Odetics in 1983 as the engineering lead in designing the company’s first broadcast automation system.

* David Boumazian has joined the law firm of Berger Kahn in Irvine as an associate. He was formerly with Burke, Williams & Sorensen, a firm with offices in both Los Angeles and Orange County.

* Michael A. Jordan has been selected as manager of the Napa Rose restaurant in Disney’s new Grand Californian Hotel. He had been general manager of the Pinot Provence restaurant in Costa Mesa.

* E. Michael Murphy has been appointed general counsel and secretary of CKE Restaurants Inc. in Anaheim, and James Wright has been named vice president, controller. Murphy had been senior vice president, assistant general counsel. He also serves as senior vice president, general counsel for CKE’s subsidiary, Hardee’s Food Systems Inc. Murphy succeeds Andrew F. Puzder, who recently was promoted to chief executive and president of Hardee’s. Before joining CKE, Wright was with Kmart for two years as assistant controller, accounting operations, and was with the Kroger Co. as controller, regional accounting service center for 24 years.

* Michael P. Hoopis has joined the board of directors of Meade Instruments Corp. in Irvine. He is president and chief executive of Water Pik Technologies Inc.
