Seals Hand Waves Their Third Consecutive Loss

The Waves lost their third consecutive game Friday night, falling to the Bay Area Seals, 3-2, in an A-League soccer match at Cal State Hayward Pioneer Stadium.

It was the third consecutive loss for the Waves (9-11-1), who entered the game tied for third place with El Paso in the Pacific Division. The Seals (9-8-2), who have a four-game unbeaten streak, remain in fourth place.

The Waves will play Pumas Unam, a Mexican first division team, at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bakersfield College.
