Now let me get this straight.
The Lakers win the world championship and Dr. Buss gets rid of veterans, gets rookies, raises seat prices (after making millions more in a new building), cuts salaries claiming dire need to economize, refuses to try to attain big-time free agents, and now Jerry West reportedly leaves?
Sounds to me like someone is taking a chapter out of the Florida Marlins’ book, “How to Win a Championship and Decimate a Team in Two Years or Less.”
