Caltrans to Close Wilshire Ramp to Santa Ana Freeway
- Share via
Workers will close a temporary onramp to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway at Wilshire Avenue in Anaheim on Tuesday, according to Caltrans.
The closure is necessary to allow construction of a permanent northbound onramp at Lincoln Avenue, which is scheduled to open in three months.
Until then, motorists are advised to go north on Wilshire, turn right on Loara Street, left on Crescent Avenue and left on Euclid Street to the northbound onramp.
The changes are part of a $1.1-billion freeway improvement project begun in 1996.
Further information on the project and other road work is available on Highway Advisory Radio (AM-1620) or at (800) 724-0353.
