Authorities are searching for three assailants who robbed a Denny’s restaurant Thursday night.
Three men walked into the Denny’s in the 29100 block of Canwood Street about 10 p.m., said Sgt. Martin Dailey of the Malibu / Lost Hills station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Two of the robbers displayed handguns, he said, and one of them ordered an employee to open the cash register.
The men took about $200 and fled, authorities said. No one was injured, and none of the restaurant’s customers were robbed.
“It was a very low-key robbery,” Dailey said. “I don’t know if the customers knew it was happening.”
The robbers were wearing hooded sweatshirts and sunglasses, and were described as about 18 years old, authorities said.
