Sgt. Kim Brown of the Police Department will be promoted to lieutenant July 28. A 17-year police veteran, Brown has worked in the patrol division as well as the detective division, where she was responsible for the investigation of sex and juvenile crimes. Upon her promotion, Brown will serve as patrol watch commander.
