* Consolidated Papers Inc., North America’s biggest maker of coated paper, said it will cut 700 jobs, or 10% of its work force, as part of an effort to cut costs. The cuts, which have already begun, will be divided between salaried and hourly workers. The Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.-based company said some workers will be fired and others will be offered early retirement.
