Overton Moore Names New President, COO

* Overton, Moore & Associates of Los Angeles has named veteran real estate executive Timur Tecimer president and chief operating officer. Tecimer was previously at Trammel Crow Co., where he was senior vice president and principal for the company’s Southern California region.
* Dole Food Co. has promoted Larry Kern to president, worldwide fresh vegetables, packaged salads and nontropical fresh fruit. He will be responsible for all vegetable operations and markets at Westlake Village-based Dole. He will continue as head of the North America nontropical fruit businesses with added responsibilities for Chilean fruit operations.
* Boston Partners Asset Management has hired Steven Pollack as an equity portfolio manager. A former executive with Hughes Electronics’ Investment Management Co., Pollack will be based in Los Angeles.
