Big-band, jazz and pop tunes will be performed by the group Stardust Sounds at the Civic Center at 6 p.m. Thursday. The free performance is part of the city-sponsored summer concert series held at the Sunken Gardens area Thursday nights. Attendees are encouraged to bring beach chairs, blankets and a picnic dinner. Nonprofit groups will be selling food.
