BIG BEAR LAKE--Old Miners’ Days are celebrated over three weekends, beginning with the Calcutta Dinner and Auction at 5:30 p.m. July 21. On July 22 there will be a chili cook-off at 10 a.m. (tastes $1) and the Parade of Lights on the lake at dusk. On July 29-30 in Fawnskin, there will be a Loggers Jubilee at Pedersen’s Sawmill ($1).
