Fans Dig Him--So Will Hollywood Hear His Roar?

I’ve been a fan of Samuel L. Jackson ever since I saw his astounding performance in “Jungle Fever” (“Addicted to Acting,” by Hilary de Vries, June 11). When referring to people of color, has the movie industry changed in the last 30 years? No, it hasn’t. If it had, that performance and many others by Jackson would have been honored on Oscar night; he is a glorious actor.
