* A July 11 letter said that “if the House goes Democrat this fall, a split Congress would offset the possibility of a highly conservative (President) Bush Supreme Court.”
The House has no input in Supreme Court choices, only the Senate does. The theory is incorrect, and one does need to vote for Al Gore to protect us from possible Bush nominees.
