Interplay Signs Agreement With Wal-Mart

Interplay Entertainment Corp. said Thursday it signed an agreement with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to distribute its interactive entertainment software directly to the retail chain.
The stock moved up nearly 17%, or 38 cents, to $2.63 a share, on the Nasdaq Market.
Irvine-based Interplay develops, publishes and distributes interactive entertainment software for PCs and gaming systems.
