Ryan Hybl of Colbert, Ga., defeated Todd Eckenrode of Corona del Mar, 5 and 4. Clemson sophomore D.J. Trahan defeated Jerry Strege, 5 and 4, and defending champion Hunter Haas edged B.J. Staten, 1-up.
