The 24th annual Ocean Festival will be held at the pier this weekend.
The festival will include an endurance race featuring a one-mile ocean swim and a 5K run, a dory man boat competition, long board and tandem surfing contests, free bodyboarding and bodysurfing clinics and a rock-climbing wall on the south side of the pier.
Fishing and sand-sculpting competitions, children’s activities, and art and car shows are also scheduled.
The festival will run from 7 a.m. Saturday until Sunday evening. Most events are free.
