La Palma Intercommunity Hospital will hold a luncheon to honor the new La Palma chapter of the Senior Friends organization July 20 at the Sequoia Conference Center, 7530 Orangethorpe Ave.
Senior Friends has more than 250 chapters nationwide offering benefits, services and travel opportunities to people 50 and older. The event will begin at 2 p.m. and reservations are required no later than Monday. Information: (714) 229-4077.
