The Irvine Co. said Wednesday that Cisco Systems Inc. signed a lease to occupy the remaining nine office buildings it owns in a Milpitas business center.
The Newport Beach real estate developer said the lease makes the San Jose maker of data-networking products its single largest tenant.
The new lease for 480,000 square feet of space in the McCarthy Center comes 90 days after Cisco signed a lease for 572,000 square feet of space in 10 buildings in the center. Cisco now will occupy the entire center.
The Irvine Co. said the first four buildings should be ready this summer and the remaining buildings should be done by next summer.
