Recent water-quality tests done on the Aliso Creek were favorable, said Milt Johns, general manager of Leisure World. More tests are scheduled through July.
“Fortunately, the Golden Rain Foundation has appropriated enough funds for a battery of tests to be done throughout the year,” Johns said during last week’s foundation board meeting.
Leisure World has made environmental quality a priority, he added. Golden Rain Foundation set aside in May a total of $94,000 to pay for a year of testing of creek water.
