The City Council on Tuesday will discuss the revocation of term limits for the mayor and City Council. The mayor and council cannot hold more than two consecutive four-year terms. Those who have exceeded the term limits can hold office again after two years. The council will discuss proposed City Charter amendments that would either repeal existing term limits or provide separate eight-year term limits for the offices of mayor and City Council.
