Murder-Suicide Over Infidelity Reported in Carson

A woman shot and killed her husband and then took her own life after leaving a suicide note saying that she was angry over her husband’s philandering, a Los Angeles County sheriff’s representative said.
The incident occurred about 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Angel Taylor-Youngblood, 50, came out of her Carson home and told a neighbor that she had just shot her husband, sheriff’s representative Sabrina Bennett said.
Taylor-Youngblood went back inside the house, and the neighbor, who called 911, heard a gunshot.
When a sheriff’s special weapons team reached the house in the 1500 block of East Gladwick Street, officers saw Taylor-Youngblood slumped near the door with a fatal gunshot in the torso.
They found her husband, Michael Steven Youngblood, 54, in an upstairs bed. He had been shot to death.
Investigators found a note that said the woman planned to kill her husband and herself because of his infidelity, Bennett said.
