Benefit Planned for Knightsbridge Theatre

The National American Shakespeare Company/Knightsbridge Theatre will hold a gala benefit fund-raiser on July 21 at 6 p.m. at the Los Angeles Athletic Club.
The benefit will include dinner, a silent auction, a casino and guest celebrities. Proceeds will help purchase lights and sound equipment for the Pasadena-based Knightsbridge’s new theater, its second, on Riverside Drive in Silver Lake, scheduled to open with a reprise of its production of “Godspell” on Aug. 3.
Proceeds also will help launch “Knights’ Bridge Off the Street,” a theater program for young people.
Tickets are $75.
