The city will celebrate the Fourth of July with its annual fireworks display from 9 to 9:30 p.m. at Monument Point in Heisler Park, on Cliff Drive. The event is free.
Also, the Festival of Arts will host a Fourth of July fair, which will include clowns, a caricaturist, face painting, balloons and a magician for children at 650 Laguna Canyon Road. The Lagunatics will play from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Tom Nolan Band will play from 3 to 6 p.m. Festival artist Mada Leach will lead a workshop on paper hat making.
