LIVE RADIO: Rick Suraci, host of the talk radio show “Christian Questions” in New London, Conn., will host a local edition of his show on the topic “Who Lit the Fire in Hell” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Burbank Auditorium, 248 E. CATHOLIC LUNCHEON: The Rev. Paul J. Hruby, pastor at Incarnation Catholic Church in Glendale, will discuss “The Call of Jesus in Mark’s Gospel” at the Catholic Community luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn, 4222 Vineland Ave., North Hollywood. CENTERING PRAYER: A centering prayer support group will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Holy Spirit Retreat Center, 4316 Lanai Road, Encino. Centering prayer is a silent meditation method intended to deepen one’s relationship with God. It consists of two 20-minute centering prayer periods separated by a meditative walk. Free.
