Stennis Leaves Hospital After Prostate Surgery

WASHINGTON — Sen. John C. Stennis (D-Miss.) was released Thursday from Walter Reed Army Medical Center, three days after he underwent surgery to correct a prostate gland problem. Stennis, 86, announced earlier this week that he would not seek reelection next year.
